The velcro is great and don't let the pouches slide out. The molle plastic tabs will not break unless you really want them to, and they keep the pouch itself from bobing up and down. I uot 2 of these on a battle belt and they will stay still, will certainly pick some up for my carrier soon! July 3, 2022 Reviewer: Dan from Penn's Woods, PA United States The EMDOM covered, double mag pouch is a great piece of equipment. As I shoot 5.56 and 7.62 Soviet the pouches allow the shooter to interchange mag types; same pouch, two different style mags. Makes for a bit of simplicity with LBE. Although these magazines are marketed as double mag pouches I only use them for one magazine. Two mags = bulk and weight. You can use the second mag location to store the flap and enjoy instant conversion to a open-top pouch. Although there are other attributes to the EMDOM pouch I'll just complete my remarks where they're at. They are the best dual purpose magazine pouches I have used. Some advice: when you first get them, load either AR or AK magazines into the pouch(s) and let them sit for a few days. This will allow them to break in and allow easier removal and insertion of the magazines. Also when using Ar15 magazines in the pouches it makes getting the magazine out easier if they have MAGPUL Ranger Plates or MAGPULS on the bottom of the magazines as the pouch is made deep enough to fit AK magazines. Both types of Magazines can either be used in the bullets up or bullets down position but I find it easier to run AR-15 magazine bullets down and ranger plate up, and AK magazines bullets up. These pouches will also fit two 40 round MAGPUL P-Mags and will still allow the flap to close. Was this review helpful to you?
