Construction:
The CM Belt is constructed of 1000D Cordura wrapped around a stiff HDPE insert, which gives it load bearing rigidity. The interior is lined with 2" wide webbing. Sewn to the webbing is 1" wide webbing paired with 1" wide loop Velcro which is bartacked at regular intervals creating loops. By utilizing 1000D Cordura instead of scuba webbing, we’re able to offer the CM Belt in multiple color options.

Interior webbing loops:
Allows compatibility with most pouches and holsters designed for 2" wide belts and/or MOLLE/PALS platforms. The interior row of 1" wide loop Velcro lined webbing is bartacked every 1.5" creating loops through which MOLLE straps or MALICE clips can pass through. This prevents pouches from shifting side to side. Towards the front and sides are sections 2.5" wide to accommodate holsters and subloads/drop leg rigs that are 2" wide (size small and medium have two 2.5" sections, size large and extra large have three 2.5" sections). For some pouches with Velcro wrap around attachments, the loop Velcro lined webbing will prevent these from sliding as well.

Mounting:
The CM Belt is designed to accommodate MOLLE/PALS and dedicated belt pouches. When mounting with MALICE clips, only the top two rows of webbing on the back of the pouch are used, and the short MALICE clip is tightened to the 2nd slot. This coupled with the interior webbing loops will prevent the attached pouch from shifting in any direction. However, when attaching MOLLE pouches with traditional mounting straps, these will be a bit loose due to the wider spacing of the webbing.

Belt buckle:
A 2" wide ITW Snap Dragon buckle was chosen for is durability and unique locking mechanism which - unlike traditional buckles - prevents accidental opening due to pressure or bumps to any side. The ITW Snap Dragon buckle can only be released by pulling on the quick release tab which is looped and bartacked onto the female end of the buckle. The quick release tab is 1" wide webbing and features a female snap which is secured to the male snap located on the belt loop on the opposite end of the belt.

Size adjustment:
Fit is adjusted by lengthening or shortening each end of the belt on both sides of the ITW Snap Dragon buckle. The ends are secured with Velcro and keeper loops (one on each end).

War/battle belt:
If the CM Belt is used as an inner belt for a MOLLE war/battle belt, it is recommended to purchase a size up. To be certain of what size is needed, measure the circumference of the MOLLE war/battle belt over your waist.

Suspenders:
The CM Belt is designed to work with the Emdom/MM Battle Suspenders. Pairing the Emdom/MM CM Belt and Battle Suspenders creates a supportive load bearing platform which distributes load weight between the shoulders and hips.
