IR Reflectivity is getting more attention is recent years. Being both invisible in visible light and IR illumination surely has great advantages in modern battle fields. Owning the night is always a key factor of success. Many leading US manufacturers has been researching on IR signal reduction technologies for decades. At Emdom USA, we are excited to incorporate these technologies, such as Multicam IR fabrics, IR treated military cordura, GhillieTEX technology, into our products. We are committed to provide these cutting edges  to our troops.

Here is a simple experiment we conducted on our product (Fattie Wide Load pack with various color pattern). All pictures were taken in a woodland environment, through a Gen III PVS-14 NVG goggle with IR illumination. The test color patterns include Multicam with coyote PALS webbing, Multicam with Multicam PALS webbing, Sewer green, Coyoteish, Black, Woodland camo, and Tri-desert camo. The result reveals a similar IR reflectivity between most of our product and the Crye Multicam fabrics, except the black color product.  A desert environment test will be conducted very soon.

IR reflectivity of all Emdom USA products. Most products have similar IR reflectivity as the Crye Multicam fabrics, except the black color product.

Multicam, the best. Note: the GhillieTex D-ring at the hydration pack (the bottom) fully blend into the fabric.

Multicam contains 8 basic colors, All colors blend into a harmony. Not a single color stands out. Excellent result.

Sewer Green, uniform IR reflectivity of Cordura fabric, webbing, and Velcro. For the best camouflage effect, spray paint the product into various tones to break the shape up.

Coyoteish Brown: uniform IR reflectivity of Cordura fabric, webbing, and Velcro. Matches the ground tone, but appears darker when compares to leaves and grass. For the best camouflage effect, spray paint the product into various tones to break the shape up.

Black: appears as a dark spot and stands out in woodland environment.

Woodland Camo: Nice result, but not as good as Multicam camouflage. The black color in the woodland camo pattern stands out.

Tri-desert Camo, appears brighter in a woodland environment. The brown color in the tri-desert camo patterns stands out.
